McG Technology Department Opens Up the Student Help Desk
Over the past few weeks, the technology department at McGuffey School District has been working hard to get devices in the homes of families that need them in order to access classroom content in an an electronic format.  The goal is to initially provide at least one device per family in need and then provide additional devices to families with multiple children if possible.  Once we have devices in the hands of families that need them our next focus is to tackle the logistical challenges of maintaining the devices while off campus.  We recognize the need for students and families to submit help tickets so we have developed a "Student Help Desk" to aid in this effort.  In order to submit a ticket with the help desk you have two options.
      1) E-Mail the Help Desk: [email protected]
                  OR
      2) Call (724) 948-3731 x2320
The information you will need to provide the help desk is as follows:
      1) Student's First and Last Name
      2) School They Attend
      3) Grade Level
      4) Asset Tag Number of Device (Located on the Back of the Device)
      5) Detailed Description of the problem.
If the device will need a repair, the help desk will arrange a time to exchange the device for one in working condition.  Please note: In cases where an exchange will need to be made, you will need to return the device along with the charger and protective case/bag as a matching charger and protective case/bag will be provided.
