5th grade students from Joe Walker Elementary had the incredible opportunity to visit Fort Necessity National Park!  From exploring historic grounds to engaging with the rich stories of the French and Indian War, our students experienced hands-on learning at its finest.  We’re grateful to the staff at Fort Necessity for making history both fun and unforgettable!

The McGuffey BotsIQ Team competed in the 20th Annual BotsIQ Finals at Penn West California University April 11-12, 2025.  In just its second year, this talented McGuffey team won 3 matches and lost 2 and ended up placing 17^th our of 67 teams. The students also tied for 1st place for the award of Best Sportsmanship. The robotics teams vote for each other to decide who wins the best sportsmanship award.
