School Police Officer

McGuffey School District is seeking a School Police Officer. This is a full-time position under the direction and supervision of the Chief of Police at McGuffey School District. The School Police Officer is responsible for working with school administrators, security staff and faculty to provide for the safety and welfare of students while on school grounds. Substitutes

Custodial substitutes are needed for the 2024-2025 school year. The hourly pay is $13.50 per hour and no prior experience is necessary. Work hours are typically 3 pm until 11 pm, however, hours are flexible. Shifts as short as 4 hours are acceptable and the start time can be as late as 7 pm. Clearances are required prior to the first day of work.

McGuffey School District is also looking for Part-time School Police Officers.

Police Officers would be assigned evening shifts, after school events on a as needed basis in the McGuffey school district. Candidates must have: • Act 120 certified or • Graduate of The Pennsylvania State Police Academy. Successful applicants must provide law enforcement to district schools and protect employees, students, and property to create a safe and healthy learning environment. Interested applicants should submit, cover letter, resume, three letters of recommendation, Acts 34, 114, 151 clearances less than one year old, Act 24, Act 126 Certificate and Act 168 disclosure release(s) to [email protected]. Location McGuffey School District. Hourly rate of $25.00.

McGuffey School District is also looking for Part-time "Armed School Security Guards".

Armed School Security Guards would be assigned evening shifts, after school events on a as needed basis in the McGuffey school district. Candidates must have: • a current Act 235 certification card and completed the NASRO Basic Course (National Association of School Resource Officers). Interested applicants should submit, cover letter, resume, three letters of recommendation, Acts 34, 114, 151 clearances less than one year old, Act 24, Act 126 Certificate and Act 168 disclosure release(s) to [email protected]. Location McGuffey School District. Hourly rate of $17.50.
