McGuffey High School students competed in the BotsIQ 15-pound combat robotics competition on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the Westmoreland County Community College. The team of 8 students led by Technology Education Teacher Mr. Andrew Valentine, prepared their robot to fight other schools' robot in an enclosed arena. McGuffey won 3 matches and lost 2 and finished in 4th place out of 18 teams. The finals will be held at PennWest California on April 26 & 27, 2024.
