Currently students in McGuffey School District can participate in Foreign Language courses beginning with their 8th grade year. 

These course offerings, under the instruction of Spanish teachers Ms. Megan Pendleton and Mrs. Lisa Bouman include Spanish I, Spanish II, Spanish III, and Advanced Placement (AP) Spanish. 

Additionally, students can participate in virtual French Language courses through Lincoln Learning Solutions. 

A new course offering of Career Spanish is being proposed for the 2022-2023 school year. The curriculum information for this course will be presented for a first reading at the June 16, 2022 school board meeting and then on the agenda for approval at the July 21, 2022 school board meeting.
