The AP Social Studies course description and textbook recommendation will be presented for a reading at the June 16, 2022 school board meeting and will then be up for approval at the July 21, 2022 school board meeting.

The course information for the proposed AP Psychology course can be found at this link. The proposed course syllabus can also be found here

Additionally, the textbook being recommended for the course is Myers' Psychology For the AP Course, 3rd Edition, which is written by David G. Myers and C. Nathan DeWall and published by Bedford, Freeman, and Worth with a 2021 copyright date. Information about this text can be found at this link. Along with the online information, a hardcopy of the text is available for review in the McGuffey School District administrative offices.
