What is a school counselor?

The role of McGuffey's Elementary school counselor is to ensure that each student strives to be his/her best and reach his/her fullest developmental potential through our detailed, balanced, evolving, and diverse counseling program. Our Global Competency educated school counselors help students by teaching them study skills, coping skills, and soft skills that will help them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally in the classroom.
