Through the development of the Future Ready Plan, McGuffey School District established four priority challenges to be addressed from Year 1 (2022-2023) through Year 3 (2024-2025) of the 2022-2025 FRCP window. 

In reviewing progress towards these challenge areas, district priorities, and the ever changing landscape of our world, three of these four priority challenges are slated to remain in place for the 2025-2028 FRCP window, with one area of change. 

The district administration and FRCP steering committee propose to continue the focus on attendance, fostering a vision & culture of high expectations for success for all students, educators, & families, and the recruitment & retention of fully credentialed, experienced & high quality teachers & leaders. 

The newly proposed fourth priority challenge for 2025-2028 is to develop a firm understanding of what Artificial Intelligence (AI) is, how it works, and it's potential benefits in education. 

While partnering with local businesses, community organizations, and other agencies to meet the needs of the district remains an important objective, the team felt that the combination of progress made in this area and the rising challenge of addressing Artificial Intelligence necessitate this shift in our fourth priority challenge area.
